Social Media Manager

 

WABE International School is looking for a part-time experienced, passionate and creative social media manager to join our team to promote our recent brand relaunch, with exciting and relevant new content for our parent, student, expat and national community.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing our school’ s social media strategy via our different social media accounts to increase online presence and brand awareness, improve marketing efforts and sales efforts. You will be working closely with our Marketing and Admissions department.

Your duties and responsibilities include:

  • Develop, implement and manage our social media strategy based on our overall marketing strategy of “Doing School Differently”
  • Define most important social media KPI’S
  • Create, manage and oversee social media content
  • Measure the success of every social media campaign
  • Stay up to date with latest social media best practices and technologies
  • Ensure content is informative, relevant and creatively appealing
  • Collaborate with our Marketing and Admissions Department
  • Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest optimization
  • Communicate with industry professionals in the educational sector/specifically the International School sector, and influencers via social media to create a strong network

Your requirements include:

  • Several years of managing Social Media accounts
  • Keen on working in an international educational environment with young children and adults
  • Keen on providing relevant and responsible content in portraying the culture, expertise and difference our school makes in the international educational landscape of progressive padagogie
  • Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, TikTok, Google* and other best media practices
  • Good understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
  • Good understanding of social media KPI’s
  • Best practice case studies of past successes
  • Team player
  • Bilingual in German and English
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • BSc degree in Marketing or relevant field
